Drift is the 2nd in a series of pieces created with Twizla (see andybridle.co.uk/twizla.aspx for more information about Twizla). Track 1 (25:05) contains the Drift soundtrack together with a binaural beat component and a little pink noise. It is intended for headphone listening at low volume. Track 2 contains the same music but without the binaural beat and noise components. It can be listened to via loudspeakers and at a higher volume.

DRIFT (Directional Recoil Identification From Tracks) is a series of physics experiments that hopes to identify the structure of Dark Matter. One Dark Matter candidate is the WIMP (Weakly Interacting Massive Particle) and the DRIFT-IIb experiment, situated deep underground at the Boulby Mine in Yorkshire, U.K., hopes to detect the collision of a WIMP with the nucleus of an atom in a carbon disulphide gas.
